Iran announced it had summoned Ukraine’s diplomatic representatives following the incident in the Caspian, where at least one sailor was reported killed and another wounded. Kyiv said the ship was transporting military-linked cargo tied to Iran and destined for Russia. Separately, Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed missile and drone attacks on Saudi Aramco installations in Jizan and Yanbu. The group said the strikes were retaliation for recent Saudi-led coalition operations against Hodeidah port and Kamaran Island.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States was “locked and loaded” for possible new strikes on Iran but indicated a final decision had not been made.
