A 4.6-magnitude earthquake struck western Nepal’s Sudurpashchim province on Sunday morning. The National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre said the quake was recorded at 8:28 am with an epicentre in the Ghusa area of Darchula district. Tremors were felt in neighbouring districts, but there were no immediate reports of damage. Western Nepal is frequently affected by seismic activity; on November 30, a 4.4-magnitude quake was recorded in the Saipal mountain region of Bajhang district.
